Paul Murray (Sky News) said “how messed up are we as a country” … I say “how messed up are we as a race” seriously, WHAT gives any human the right to try and decide that another person should or should not LIVE? Some commentators use the word “ugly”, frankly it’s disgusting to imagine people marching against a race, against other humans. It breaks my heart to think that any group of people can think it is okay to murder other people simply because they have a difference of belief.
Imagine you go to bed tonight, and whilst you are sleeping people enter your home, if you’re lucky you just get dragged out of bed and held in unimaginable tunnels for weeks on end, no sanitation, limited food, the basics of life withheld from you. Your children crying, afraid to do anything. Worse than that, seeing members of your family brutally murdered in front of you, no discrimination as to sex or age.
History has shown what persecution means when it comes to the Jews. Six million… yeah I know, we cannot comprehend that number, 6,000,000. Imagine you had six million dollars in your bank, most will never reach it, yet here we are, that’s the number of exterminated, murdered, wiped out HUMANS just in the 1940’s.
WHAT IS WRONG with the human race?
While all this is going on, people are complaining that they can’t use their phone for the day, or their internet isn’t working for the latest binge viewing of a show?
People… it is 2023. There are enough other issues facing humanity without having to worry about which God you want to follow.
Over the years I’ve had the honour to spend time with some amazing individuals that live in Israel, I’ve had heartfelt discussions as to the difference in my belief system to theirs, just the same as I have with Muslims and atheists. Does that make them (or me) wrong? does that mean I should want to remove them from the planet? Heck NO.
There is no excuse for a group breaking into a country and killing non-combat personnel EVER.
Do I think this post will rub some people up the wrong way? absolutely. Do I expect to lose followers or be targeted? probably. But I stand with Israel.
My prayer is that people can just accept that we are on this spinning rock for such a small time, and that what we leave behind will impact our grandchildren’s grandchildren. We should be fighting the things that impact our global race, not using race and religion to attempt to be a slight in a history book.
